Now to a question I’m getting asked far too often, and that’s “What’s Jake and Vienna’s status now?” I will tell you this: When they ended filming in November, Vienna was Jake’s final one. He chose her to either continue to date, or to marry. Not sure which one, but he DID NOT pull a Womack and dump both girls. He chose Vienna. Did he propose? Not sure. If I had to guess, I’d say he did. I just couldn’t see someone as high as a kite about wanting to meet someone and fall in love and be married, choose Vienna after those 5-6 weeks with her and say, “Yeah, let’s just date”. But that’s just my opinion. Which brings us to: “Are they still together now?” Answer: I don’t know. If I had to guess, probably not. Especially with all this stuff in the media coming out about her.
A lot of you are asking, “How can he be with a girl like that?”, and I don’t necessarily disagree, all I’m saying is he knew nothing about “this” Vienna while filming the show. He didn’t know about topless pin up calendars, or milking ex’s bank accounts for a boob job (if that’s even true). And the fact that Chris defended her saying in the time she was there, she’s a good girl at heart but just a little outspoken, and even Corrie today, in her post show interview, says that Vienna wasn’t all that bad. Just young, loud, and stupid. It’s apparent now that Vienna was one way with Jake, and a complete mega-bitch around the girls. So, I guess she fooled him, but obviously, there’s a reason Jake picked her. I’m sure if he knew now what he didn’t know back then, no way he would’ve chosen her, but what can you do about it now? This show has been in the can for 2 ½ months. A lot has happened since. We’ll see how it plays out, but I’m sorry to inform all the Vienna haters out there, Jake chose her back when filming ended in November.

Jake talked about having values in line with those of Tenley. He also talked about being seriously there to find his wife. I can’t see how he would have thought Vienna was good wife material. She is 23 and puts on a facade typical a young girl trying to pick up a guy in a bar. (Loud, stupid, slutty) He must have felt a physical attraction but at his age and experience wouldn’t he want more than that? He could have picked up a girl like Vienna in a bar without going on the Bachelor to find her.
i hope he did pick vienna. i like her and i think her personality quirks were swayed to look a certain way for good tv. she was the only genuine girl there. not fake. talks with her real voice. she is who she is and doesn’t try to pretend she isn’t.
tenley is beyond annoying with her ex-husband hangups and her voice.
ali is so drama queen and insecure. she left her job, like a lot of the other girls, to find a man, she thought he was the perfect guy so why would she leave. jobs are a dime a dozen if she was good at what she does, her employer would value her and hold her job for her.

In my opinion ( by the waay I am 68) Ali is just a phoney. I personally think she thought he would be so struck on her that she would get a commitment out of him thus just play the show out but pick her in the end. I am sorry but it just doesn’t work that way. She is just a coniver and this time it backfired. Thanks for letting me speak my opinion
Unless I missed something I don’t believe that Jake asked Vienna’s father for his blessing should he ask her to marry him unlike all the other families he asked. Also at the end of the rose ceremony he kissed all the girls except Vienna. I think she was on the chopping block. I also think he will not choose any of them and fly to SF and propose to Ali. Now that would make for good television.
Maybe he chose Vienna because she is the easiest to dump? I mean what kind of guy would he be if he proposed to a sweet girl like Tenley and then broke it off. In my opinion, I think he would have ended up with Aly had she stayed. But since she didn’t, maybe he chose Vienna because he knows it won’t last with either of the last 3, so it’s easier to end the show choosing the one that you could live with hurting.
Of course, perhaps, he really does love Vienna. Crazy as that would be, stranger things have happened. We all know logic goes out the window when a guy thinks he loves someone. But I would be willing to bet it won’t last, even to the point of marriage. If they do marry, I hope he has a prenuptial agreement. And don’t have kids too fast.
Oh gosh. I wish he chose Tenley! She’s such a sweet girl! And does Ali come back? On the “Next on the Bachelor” thing at the end of each episode, Ali called Jake! I hope Vienna goes away..(no offence to Vienna fans!!!) But Vienna reminds me of Lady Gaga, so that’d be cool if Jake married a Lady Gag look-alike! LOL

Gag & barf!! If the producers thought it was a good idea for Jake to leave 3 girls standing in wait at a rose ceremony to have a side-bar with Ali they should have given it some more thought – watching Ali swing her legs up on Jake’s lap YET AGAIN to try to coax a commitment out of him ad infinitum was BORING!! Give me a commercial to watch, PLEASE! And, if Tenley is the next Bachelorette I WILL NOT be tuning in – she is too sickening sweet and her family is painfully anal retentive.
OK first off Ali? Are you serious, yeah like he would be proud to bring such a “mean girl” and fake home to his parents. She spent most of her time being vicious to Vienna, real nice! ANd Tenley?!! Is she 6 years old? Really, she has the most whinny voice and truly acts like a child. That dance she performed for his, just weird. And that Corrie girl? He should have sent her packing after that comedy club act. What a dits! mocking Vienna on stage? Another teenager! For all the bad you say about Vienna, she seems genuinely sweet.
why did all this news come out about Jake 2010 Bachelor and who he chose..before the end.. kind of felt I was watching a rerun..not interested in watching it to the end now…….
I have watched the Bachelor for years but this episode has made me want to vomit. Not only is Jake a complete phoney but he chooses the girls with the most problems. I wonder if the producers made him pick the final 3.
I really like Vienna too she was funny and nice and not a fake like so many….Aly UGH! I could not stand her and her little plan seemed to back fire….good. People change Vienna seemed very nice and in love with Jake I hope its her I and I hope it works and they live happily every after.
Who cares if Vienna got a boob job. She was young when she was married and divorced. She admitted that. What is so wrong with taking 5,000 and getting a boob job. I never saw her treat other girls bad. The one I didnt like was Ali. She had the attitude. She was the one picking on Vienna. Also, people can change. People should not be judged on their past. I do think it’s crap for him to choose one girl and then dump later. I do like Tenley too. Sure don’t want to see her hurt again.
I’m glad to see so many people here standing up for Vienna. I don’t know what we may have missed when the cameras were off, but from what I saw Ali was a total bitch all the time, she was the one who acted one way to Jake’s face and another when she was alone with the girls. If she is the next bachelorette, I will not be watching. I agree that she totally thought she could manipulate Jake into picking her when she said she had to leave for her job, and she got a rude awakening when he refused. Gia was sweet, I wouldn’t have minded if Jake chose her. Tenley is crazy ANNOYING and you can tell that Jake is bored by her. Don’t bring all your baggage on TV! No one cares about your stupid ex-husband. Vienna was the most interesting and genuine of all the girls, she put up with Ali’s crap with true grace, and she seems like a sweet person. If she and Jake are together I wish them a lot of happiness.
from the beginning there was just total chemistry between jake and vienna, i think the two of them make a great couple and i hope he chooses her in the end, ali i could not stand because she was actually the real troublemaker and whiner, gia to insecure and tenly totally not ready for another proposal she is so not over her ex….so i believe he will choose vienna, good luck to them both
Tenley is his angel side and Vienna is his devils side. We as humans usually choose our devils over our angels.
I think Vienna has gotten a hugely bad rap. I have never seen anyone so ganged up on. Ali and the other women in the house were acting like a bunch of catty sorority girls ready to rip Vienna apart for breathing. I think ABC let us see what they wanted because it was good for ratings and honestly what did she do that was so horrible? If being outspoken is a crime then I think Ali and friends were MUCH worse. I think the girls who were after Vienna were motivated by jealousy. It’s was too bad. Jake seems like a very sweet guy with good values. I doubt he would be dumb enough to be duped by someone like Vienna if she really was a villan.
Personally, I think he was not a great Bachelor (not very confident), and the girls on this show were the worst of the worst, was it his criteria requirements? I think he was not impressed and basically picked the worst of the bunch Vienna the immature kid in order to easily dump her since no one would object!! Maybe they even made an agreement as friends. Just my opinion. I can’t see them getting married in the end.
Jake is missing something. He is good-looking and has a great physique, but no spark. Vienna is sexy but not pretty. This is a really bad match and will never work. Jake needs some counseling or some help from his mother in learning how to choose women. He is the worst bachelor in the years I have been watching. Gia is adorable and lucky she got bumped.
I liked Gia…he is crazy to pick Vienna. Vienna is an honest chick and I like that, but I really think she is too young for marriage…not her age but the way she acts is like a slutty little girl.

I am so glad he didn’t pick Gia because she is honestly too good for him. I can’t imagine her moving to Texas for him. Jake is corny, dopey, and square. I sincerely hope Gia is the next Bachelorette, not Ali.

Please ABC Make Gia the next Bachlorett. She didn’t deserve to get voted off. I really liked Jake but with Gia and possibly Tenley voted off you realize he’s just another player. If he picked Vienna he was not looking for anything long term. And…. poor Tenley. Looks like Ali made out like a fat rat! Leaving was the best choice! Enjoy that job Ali you made the right decision.
Since Jake didn’t chase after Ali, he doesnt deserve her. She was the most sincere and genuine, by far. Vienna is not bad! She was just the girl that everyone decided to go against. Tenley has the most annoying baby voice ever, and needs to stop reminding Jake of her innocence. She does it so much it seems she is hiding something now. and Gia….beautiful girl, period. I hope she finds a great man.
If he really did pick that dumb blonde, what a waste of a season. Vienna is still young immature, and how can i say SLUT. She’s unemployed, not that smart, but has a nice bod, why wouldn’t Jake wanna hit that til’ he dies? But real talk tho, if he really did pick the blonde bimbo with that rinky-dink family of hers, I have to say I have lost ALOT of respect for that man.
Jake is really not as “cool” as he seems. He would have been very lucky to hook up with a girl like Gia. Gia was the BEST choice. Ali is manipulative and Vienna is way too young in every respect.
Jake might be the biggest tool of all time. A loser limo driver. Gia could walk down MLK boulevard, throw a rock in the air, and hot someone better than jake. Tenley is a sweetheart, and deserves so much better. Vienna, i am glad he picked her, because he deserves to be hurt by the dumb selections he made.

I really did not like Vienna for Jake at all. I thought she was one of the least attractive girls on the show and he only liked her because she was the one with the dominant personality. I found her rather annoying to watch. I do not think she had a good body or a cute face by any means. I really did not want Ali to leave. She was the cutest girl on the show. Her date with Jake in her hometown was so adorable. They actually looked like a married couple. Tenley was not one of my top choices at all.. but she was a better choice than Vienna.
Vienna is a skank and (uh) how do you say “trailer trash”… Jake deserves what ever heartache she dishes out to him. Gia was best pick out of the final 3.
Vienna was a fine choice all ya’all need to shut the hell up. tenley was the both boring obnoxious people iv ever had to watch on tv. she was constantly trying to spit out these stupid boring emotional rants. her voice was so irritating and she seemed SO incredibly fake. Vienna might be young, but she was fun, outgoing,kind, and u could easily tell she liked jake. and carol..u call her trailer trash? why..? cuz of where she grew up? like she had a choice..you all are so stupid for being sucked into the stupid tabloids., pretty sad..do you all realize those people, ex mother in law, ex boyfriend who said that crap were PAID. and mind the EX’s before there names. get lives people..find your own significant other rather than judging jakes.
The person who started all of the drama about Vienna was Ali. Ali is a pretty but not bright. She apparently was trying to copy a previous espisode of the bachelor when she left and thought without a doubt that jake was going to beg her to stay. Ooops sorry Ali

OMG I can’t believe Jake picked Vienna. I truly believe we will hear soon that they have broken up. I just don’t see them together forever. I think we’ll be hearing soon from Jake that things just are not working out.
