CHESSNOID

Tonight, the Academy Awards is on and my wife and I will have our separate ballots to see who can guess the most correctly.  We have seen all ten best film nominees.  My favorite is Avatar and do hope it wins.  I did not like the Hurt Locker like so many others.  I guess it is just a matter of taste.  Just so you  know, my wife beats me at this contest every year.  One year, she almost predicted every winner correctly and missed on only two categories.  And she didn’t even watch all the movies that year.

The other movies I did enjoy were Up in the Air and Fantastic Mr Fox both with George Clooney, Up, and the Blind Side with Sandra Bullock.  Fantastic Mr Fox is an animation and so is Up, but they are both nominated in different categories.

Anyways, the awards show should be pretty good since Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will serve as co-hosts of the 82nd Academy Awards. I just watched both these actors in a recent movie called It’s Complicated.  It is a good funny movie.
