CHESSNOID

I just started watching this anime series on netflix with my wife. We are able to live stream it which means we don’t have to wait for the dvds in the mail. This is a five disc series and we just finished watching the first disc. So far, we think it is a good anime series.

Surprisingly, this is being made into a movie. I embed the video trailer below.  We will watch this movie when it comes out, but for some reason both my wife and I feel the movie won’t be as good as the anime version. We are basing that on M. Night Shyamalan’s history of bad movies. He made one good movie The Sixth Sense, but since then has made movies with great potential that upon execution disappointed us: Unbreakable, Signs, The Village , and The Happening.  The trailers all look good, but when we watched the movies, he strikes out.
