Will Goldman Sachs be held accountable?

The US economy is still struggling with high unemployment rates and bank foreclosures. Now our government is trying to point figures at a private company as the cause. I believe Goldman Sachs committed fraud and unethical acts to profit from the crisis. However, I don’t think they are the cause of this mess. And when all is said and done with this political show, no one will go to prison.

Our own government created the environment we live in today. The Federal Reserve maintained artificially low rates, the SEC did not police the industry, and the Bush administration launched two wasteful wars for oil and profit.

So yes, Goldman is guilty of what it is accused of, but our government is the bigger blame. As well as all the ignorant America people who supported his decisions.
