I still love watching movies and do it almost everyday. I spend almost no time watching regular television anymore. Because of the economy we live in, I cancelled our cable television a few months ago and now just get the over the air HD channels. That means I get ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and PBS.
I am able to watch most of my movies from netflix and their streaming movies. I have a separate blog for the movies I watch, but haven’t been as enthusiastic about posting. I hope I can change that and start posting everyday soon.
Anyways, I watched this Japanese movie called Tokyo Sonata. It was a sad movie and the subject matter may even be depressing to some. However, in the end I think the movie allows its characters to become stronger and get a new start in life that seems everyone was looking for. I enjoyed the movie and afterwards, my wife and I talked about it. It is that type of movie that gets you to think about what you just saw and helps you appreciate what you already have. If you get a chance watch it.
