Virgin Mobile has another Android Phone LG Optimus

Posted on Jan 29, 2011 by CHESSNOID in Android, Cell phones, gadgets | 2 Comments

This is pretty fast and i am glad.  It is cool to see my prepaid mobile carrier get more phones.  This prepaid android phone is a hundred bucks less than the $250 retail Samsung Intercept. Apparently, they are already selling this LG Optimus at the retail stores.

The device comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 3G data connection, Bluetooth, GPS, expansion slot, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

Thanks for this. I was going to buy the Intercept for my wife and I but seeing this, I think I might wait :)

They are already in stores like radio shack and target for $149. If you wait for 3 months, it will probably be down to $99 or go on sale for that price. I imagine the other phone will go down in price too. And I wouldn’t be surprised if another android phone comes out in 3 months.
