Justin’s Nut Butter Natural Chocolate Almond Butter vs Peanut Butter & Co. Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Dreams

This has to be the longest blog post title I have used. I have tried both vegan products and while both were delicious, I did like Justin’s product much better.

Both have high marks and excellent reviews on amazon but honestly I couldn’t taste the chocolate in the Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams.   It tasted mostly like peanut butter to me with only a hint of dark chocolate.  However, most of the reviews stated this would be like eating a Reeses peanut butter and chocolate candy.  Unfortunately, I didn’t share the same experience even though it does taste good.  So maybe my expectations were raised too high. The good thing is they use great ingredients. No added sugar, no cholesterol, no trans fats, no hydrogenated oil, no high fructose corn syrup. Also they are certified kosher, vegan, and is even gluten-free

Now the Justin’s Nut Butter Natural Chocolate Almond Butter was like eating candy. I mean you can literally eat it out of the jar with a spoon.   If you look at the ingredients, you will see it is made from natural and organic items.  Justin’s Nut Butter Natural Chocolate Almond Butter comes in a 16 ounce plastic jar. It contains dry roasted almonds, organic evaporated cane sugar, organic cocoa powder, organic cocoa butter, organic palm fruit oil, natural vanilla, sea salt. I like this more than regular peanut butter and I think the chocolate flavor comes through much stronger compared to the Peanut Butter & Co. Dark Chocolate Dreams.

I have been a vegan now for 11 months and have not eaten any animal products in any of my foods (includes no meats, cheese, dairy, eggs, and butter).  With just a little research on the internet, you will realize that many diseases come from the foods we eat.  For those of you who think protein only comes from animal meat or can’t get a balanced diet without them, you are literally poisoning yourself by consuming it.  Dietary cholesterol only comes from animals we consume.  Just like you I ate meats for 43 years, and only when I changed my diet to a whole food plant based diet did I realize that the quality of life gets better without them.

If you want to change your eating habits for the better, maybe you can lean into the vegetable lifestyle slowly by replacing products that you use with vegan ones.  Just like these peanut and almond chocolate butters.  Even if you aren’t vegan you will enjoy the taste of the products i mentioned and make of your body better without trying.
