I was considering purchasing an Apple ipod touch 4 because it is suppose to be faster and has the cameras that allow you do the facetime. Now that the rumors of the Apple iPod Touch 5 coming out with potential leaked pictures (like all the other Apple products in the past), I think I will wait for the release.

Of course, I won’t be buying the ipod touch 5 because it will probably be sold out and pricey. I will be buying the ipod touch 4 because the price will be driven down by about 25-35% from what they sell for now brand new. Also, to maximize my discount, I will probably buy a used one from an Apple fanboy who needs and wants to have the latest version and will no longer need the out of date version.

Seriously, if you look at the apple ipod prices on Amazon, you can get the original and second generation for less than $100.  Depending on the version you can get the ipod touch in 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB.  I think that is cheap and a great value. Also, you can get the 3rd generation at a great price too. So much so that I would even consider buying one with the higher storage capacity if I didn’t want the camera version.
