Just like an adobe program, shows like the Bachelor are edited in such a way to give a different impression from what originally happened. I think Reality Steve gives a good explanation of what happened in this Bachelor Ben video and how one voice over is not of the person who is in the video footage.

Voice-over: “This morning when I woke up, I pictured myself with Ben but…I’ve done a 180 from this morning. Ummm…maybe I’m realizing that it’s really real now and that’s really scary.”

Ben: “I’m so happy right now. I’m happy. This…is one of the best days of my life.”

Voice-over: “I thought I was ready to be a wife and mom, but, there’s no way I can do that right now. Sorry.”

Ben: (Presumably as the girl is arriving at the final rose ceremony): “Hi.”

Lets clear up a few things that video is trying to portray vs. what is actually happening. The video is trying to make you think that one of the women arriving at the final rose ceremony (the one boarding the helicopter in the long black coat, the one walking in the ruffled the dress around the corner from the bushes, and the one in the long black coat covering the covering the ruffled dress walking forward) is the same women who is giving the voice-over. It’s not. They want to make you think that the ending is this tragic ending where someone Ben is so happy and in love with is about to reject him. Couldn’t be further from the truth.

The woman in the voice-over is 100% Nicki. The woman in the black coat and ruffled dress is Lindzi arriving at the final rose ceremony. These are two mutually exclusives events. They’re trying to make you think the voice-over and the clip of the girl arriving (Lindzi) are one in the same. They’re not.

In terms of the who/why/what behind why Nicki is saying that at some point this season, I don’t know. I just know it’s her voice. In fact, we may not ever hear her actually say it during an episode this season. Maybe they’re just using it in promos to trick people. They’ve done it many times before and I’m sure they’ll do it again. Hell, anyone that’s heard Kacie, Nicki, Courtney, and Lindzi speak these first few episodes can piece together that is Nicki. Maybe this means Nicki came to some realization in Switzerland that she couldn’t do this anymore and eliminated herself – I don’t know. I just know she goes at the final three, Lindzi and Courtney are your final two, and he is engaged to Courtney. Can’t be more clear on that. So, they tried to be tricky, but it didn’t work. Sorry guys. Better luck next season.
