Is the UFC a monopoly?

I think the UFC is a monopoly, but that is similar to most sports. At least when it comes to the big leagues. Here is an interview by ESPN with the UFC owner. What do you think?

Monopolies are illegal in the United States, but we see them all over the place. With banks, insurance companies, and many stores. We here about the buyouts and mergers of many companies and the federal trade commission turns a blind eye. The UFC has bought out every big company from Pride FC to Strikeforce. There really isn’t any other MMA outlet in America, but that is what happens when you have lobbyists on your payroll.
