What an interesting fight. This one everyone probably predicted correctly Fedor to win by KO or submission.   Except for UFC Dana who was secretly hoping the Fedor legend would get knocked out. 
The fight was very competitive considering in went to 2 rounds.

I guess every show is trying to be like HBO with the opposing fighters profiled before the actual event.  These shows are usually good because you get insight to fighters you normally don’t see.  I also think it allows fans to invest in the fighter they want to root for as well.  I am looking [...]

First of all, it is nice to be able to watch FREE MMA on a major network now.  No PPV fees  and mainstream TV will allow more people to become fans of the sport.  This CBS production has a great card with recognizable names and high caliber fighters.

Looks like Strikeforce has worked out a good venue to showcase their biggest fighter to date.  I think it was smart for Showtime (owned by CBS) to air Fedor’s debut on a national network for free.  Kimbo and Gina Carano received good visibility on this format and benefited dramatically.  Unfortunately, they have both lost since [...]
