Robert Shiller video “Housing is in a Precarious State”

Whenever we hear about the S&P Case-Shiller Index, we think about housing price forecasts. Many people look at this index as a reliable source of data. That’s why I think it is interesting to hear the actual person (Robert Shiller) behind this index talk about what he sees in the economy.

Citigroup (Citibank) Foreclosure Alternatives

This is a new pilot program Citibank is testing to see if it will help their foreclosure issues. I think it is proactive in helping the defaulted borrowers and may help keep future damage to the house to a minimum.

Great Recession made another 800,000 jobs disappear

This is just more of the same type of government report updates that seem to hide facts from an earlier time.  The early government reports always claim data to be in its best light such as jobs saved or created.  When the actual data is updated, everyone pretends to be surprised.
