Bachelor Brad Womack and Emily Maynard are no longer together:

Despite plans to relocate to Texas, Emily Maynard couldn’t make things work out with ‘The Bachelor’ star Brad Womack. According to Life & Style, Maynard broke off her engagement with the unlucky-in-love reality star during the weekend of April 9.

‘Emily told Brad that she can’t picture them getting married,’ a source told the mag. ‘Brad’s not acting like a fiancé, and she knows that he’s not going to change. Emily knows in her heart of hearts that the relationship is finished.’

The couple became engaged during the season finale of the ABC reality dating show. During their first interview as a couple, they revealed they had canceled plans to wed in March and had already had a number of minor breakups

Bachelorette Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are no longer together:

Hot on the heels of ‘Bachelor’ star Jake Pavelka’s messy split from fiancée Vienna Girardi, another one of the reality show’s love stories has ended. Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, who got engaged during the season finale of ‘The Bachelorette’ in early 2009, have called off their engagement, Us Weekly reports.

‘I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me,’ Harris, 29, told the mag.

Adds Swiderski, 30, ‘We’re both kind of resetting. Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.’

Despite Harris moving out of Swiderski’s Chicago pad and back into her parents’ home in Kelowna, B.C., Canada, the interior designer insisted to OK! magazine that the separation is ‘not permanent.’

Bachelor Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi are no longer together:

Come on now, who didn’t see this one coming? Just three months after Jake Pavelka gave the final rose to blond beauty Vienna Girardi on ‘The Bachelor’ finale, the couple has called it quits, reports OK! Magazine.

Pavelka, 32, shocked ‘Bachelor’ fans last season when he chose Girardi, 24, over fan favorite Tenley Molzahn.

Bachelorette Deanna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak are no longer together:

Many viewers were shocked when ‘Bachelorette’ Deanna Pappas choose carefree snowboarder Jesse Csincsak during the reality show’s finale.

And it was no surprise when the couple, whose relationship became public in May 2008, parted ways in November 2008 when a teary-eyed Csincsak took to a video blog to announce Pappas had broken up with him.

ABC has announced plans to air the wedding of The Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney in a two-hour special on March 8, hosted by Chris Harrison. Per the network, “The couple, who announced their engagement in October, will let viewers in on all the exciting festivities — from Molly’s dress fitting for her dazzling custom-made gown, to Jason and Molly planning the big day with their wedding planner and event designer. Then it’s on to their bachelor and bachelorette parties and the next stage of their romantic journey with a beautiful wedding ceremony in the perfect location. Past Bachelor and Bachelorette couples, stars and participants (to be announced at a later date) will be on the guest list to help the couple celebrate along with their family and friends.”

Reasons I would tune in for this (besides that fact that EW pays me to) include: Little kids in formal wear are adorable and Mesnick’s son, Ty, is no slouch; the only thing better than a good wedding is an over-the-top one, so here’s hoping Molly is as obsessed with pink as Trista was; and it’ll be fun to see if Ryan is still not comfortable in front of the camera in the obligatory “Where are Trista and Ryan now?” package.

Why will you tune in? Or, if you’re RSVPing “No,” why are passing? It’s hard to hold a grudge against Jason for the way he dumped Melissa when she went on to Dancing With the Stars,Good Morning America, and her own wedding. At least, that must be what ABC is hoping. I still can’t believe it is 2010, let alone that we are beginning the 14th season of the bachelor show.  This time it focuses on the formerly rejected pilot from the Bachelorette Jillian show.  Are you seeing a pattern here? Bachelor Brad rejected Bachelorette Deanna who rejected Bachelor Jason who rejected Bachelorette Jillian who rejected Bachelor Jake.   The bigger question than who does Bachelor Jake pick is which reject will become the next Bachelorette next season?

Well hello there all you Bachelor fans!

First, I want to thank you for sending all of the requests and online votes to make me the new Bachelor! Not to mention the people that have sent me letters with kind words of advice and encouragement. This experience has meant the world and I still can’t believe it actually happened to me. THANK YOU!!!

Now, the one big question I get about the show: Is it real?

Yes, it is very real and it all starts with the casting. The producers really go out of their way. Several meetings with casting, producers and other professionals took place before we started. The crew learned all about my character and temperament to find exactly what I’m looking for in a life partner. We looked at what had worked for me in the past, what had caused past relationships to fail and by the time it was over, they knew me better than I did. The casting department and producers did such a thorough job selecting the women for me that it made ALL the rose ceremonies awful!

Another question I get: Does the show edit and produce all the drama?

You could have 25 Mother Teresas living on top of each other in a house and there would be some sort of drama. Personalities just clash sometimes. It’s healthy human nature, BUT, I can assure you, it causes some pretty rocky situations for me this season! Regarding editing, I feel like everyone last season came across as who they really were. Unfortunately, sometimes when one sees oneself on TV being oneself, it can be a little shocking, but if you would ask any of their peers, 99 times out of a 100 they would say, “Yeah, that’s them alright.” Take David and WesThe Bachelorette last season — both gentlemen had VERY true and accurate edits. from

Well, as I said in the beginning, I’m not going through this to make a television show. I am looking for love. Luckily for you there were lots of cameras around recording my sometimes embarrassing dating habits. LOL!

I would say sit back relax and enjoy the show, but you better put your seatbelt on for this season. It’s going to be a very bumpy ride!

And yes! Flying is still the safest means of transportation.

The rumors I have read throughout the FORT, Reality Steve, BuddyTV, and other places I am sure you have already checked out are Reid comes back to profess his love and possibly propose to her. That seemed to be the only hang up Jillian had with Reid is that he wasn’t ready to get married or propose by the end of the season. Basically, Reid was coming off as a noncommittal type of guy.  If he does come back which there is a good chance based on previous seasons.  There is always a guy or girl who comes back asking to be taken back or given another chance (i.e. Jeremy on DeAnna’s season, and DeAnna on Jason’s season).  In both those episodes, DeAnna rejected Jeremy who was the number 3 guy to be let go, and Jason rejected DeAnna who picked Jesse over him.

The other rumor which I believe to be true is that Kiptyn will be the next season’s Bachelor.  This is suppose to be a major leak that came out 4 weeks ago.  He will be the broken-hearted guy this season to come back and re-emerge like Jason did last season.  Wait a second, I am starting to see a pattern here.  There is a long shot chance that Jillian may pick him and the FORTers will be redeemed.  From what I read they thought the fingers in the picture holding the ring was Reid’s.  Now some are  saying that  they are Kyptin’s hands.

Lastly, we have Ed who is rumored to have a girlfriend or two.  He is the guy who had to leave because of work and kept his rose.  Then he came back because he couldn’t stay away and stop thinking about Jillian.  He is the guy everyone on the forums laughed about the shorts he wore in the fantasy dates in Hawaii.  If that rumor isn’t true, then there is a good chance he may be the final rose ceremony winner.

I guess we will know in 2 weeks who she picks and what twists and turns ABC has for us.   I heard we will not find out on the last Monday night show who Jillian picks, and that we will have to wait  till the Tuesday’s ATFR ceremony the next nigh to find out who she chooses or if she even chooses anyone at all (Bachelor  Brad chose no one on his season).   Will this be a happy fairytale ending for Bachelorette Jillian  or just another ratings bonanza for ABC?

Jason & Molly Marriage? ‘Absolutely Someday’

This time, the proposal sounds like the real thing for Dallas beauty Melissa Rycroft. She is the former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader famously proposed to on the season finale of ABC’s The Bachelor before being brought back for a tawdry special episode called “After the Roses.” The cad took it all back, claiming he was still in love with another contestant.

But Friday night, Melissa and boyfriend Tye Strickland were glowing when they showed up at Brio Tuscan Grille in Southlake with two older couples who looked suspiciously like parental units. There was a large vase of fresh flowers at the table. The whispers around the restaurant were that Melissa and Tye got engaged on Friday and she was presented with a ring in a box featuring its own internal lighting (to make that rock shine).

Last spring, Tye was an omnipresent figure in the Dancing With the Stars studio after Melissa was brought in as a replacement for Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell.

Despite previous reports that the beleaguered Bachelor couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney has already reached a rocky stage in their relationship, according to E! Online, there’s hardly any trouble in paradise, as the two, plus Jason’s son Ty, were spotted doing some R and R on a Caribbean beach.

Jason and Molly, who gained widespread censure on the last season of The Bachelor for a blindside that involved winner Melissa Rycroft, was at the grand opening of the Italian Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos resort. Rycroft recently bagged the second-runner up spot at the last season of Dancing with the Stars. She became a quick replacement for an injured contestant mere days after the hullabaloo that shocked the television-viewing public.
