Bachelor Brad Womack and Emily Maynard are no longer together:

Despite plans to relocate to Texas, Emily Maynard couldn’t make things work out with ‘The Bachelor’ star Brad Womack. According to Life & Style, Maynard broke off her engagement with the unlucky-in-love reality star during the weekend of April 9.

‘Emily told Brad that she can’t picture them getting married,’ a source told the mag. ‘Brad’s not acting like a fiancé, and she knows that he’s not going to change. Emily knows in her heart of hearts that the relationship is finished.’

The couple became engaged during the season finale of the ABC reality dating show. During their first interview as a couple, they revealed they had canceled plans to wed in March and had already had a number of minor breakups

Bachelorette Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are no longer together:

Hot on the heels of ‘Bachelor’ star Jake Pavelka’s messy split from fiancée Vienna Girardi, another one of the reality show’s love stories has ended. Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, who got engaged during the season finale of ‘The Bachelorette’ in early 2009, have called off their engagement, Us Weekly reports.

‘I love him and I’m really sad, but I have to look out for me,’ Harris, 29, told the mag.

Adds Swiderski, 30, ‘We’re both kind of resetting. Jillian isn’t happy and I’m definitely sad about the whole thing, but we’ve got to work through some things on our own if we decide to move forward.’

Despite Harris moving out of Swiderski’s Chicago pad and back into her parents’ home in Kelowna, B.C., Canada, the interior designer insisted to OK! magazine that the separation is ‘not permanent.’

Bachelor Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi are no longer together:

Come on now, who didn’t see this one coming? Just three months after Jake Pavelka gave the final rose to blond beauty Vienna Girardi on ‘The Bachelor’ finale, the couple has called it quits, reports OK! Magazine.

Pavelka, 32, shocked ‘Bachelor’ fans last season when he chose Girardi, 24, over fan favorite Tenley Molzahn.

Bachelorette Deanna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak are no longer together:

Many viewers were shocked when ‘Bachelorette’ Deanna Pappas choose carefree snowboarder Jesse Csincsak during the reality show’s finale.

And it was no surprise when the couple, whose relationship became public in May 2008, parted ways in November 2008 when a teary-eyed Csincsak took to a video blog to announce Pappas had broken up with him.

Is there something in The Bachelor water?

Just two weeks after Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi announced they were separating, former Bachelorette star Jillian Harris and fiancé Ed Swiderski are taking a break, PEOPLE has learned.

According to a source at ABC, the two “are taking some time apart to re-evaluate their relationship.”

The couple, who got engaged May 2009 on the ABC reality show and settled down together in Swiderski’s one-bedroom Chicago condo in September, had previously discussed having a 2010 wedding.

“It feels more normal than any relationship I’ve ever had,” Harris told PEOPLE three months after the computer software consultant proposed in Hawaii. “When we’re together it’s very real.”

But their engagement hasn’t been without its ups and downs.

In August, they weathered rumors about Swiderski’s alleged infidelity when two women claimed he had been stringing both of them along while filming The Bachelorette.

Harris stood by Swiderski, saying she was “not destroyed” by the allegations

I still can’t believe it is 2010, let alone that we are beginning the 14th season of the bachelor show.  This time it focuses on the formerly rejected pilot from the Bachelorette Jillian show.  Are you seeing a pattern here? Bachelor Brad rejected Bachelorette Deanna who rejected Bachelor Jason who rejected Bachelorette Jillian who rejected Bachelor Jake.   The bigger question than who does Bachelor Jake pick is which reject will become the next Bachelorette next season?

Well hello there all you Bachelor fans!

First, I want to thank you for sending all of the requests and online votes to make me the new Bachelor! Not to mention the people that have sent me letters with kind words of advice and encouragement. This experience has meant the world and I still can’t believe it actually happened to me. THANK YOU!!!

Now, the one big question I get about the show: Is it real?

Yes, it is very real and it all starts with the casting. The producers really go out of their way. Several meetings with casting, producers and other professionals took place before we started. The crew learned all about my character and temperament to find exactly what I’m looking for in a life partner. We looked at what had worked for me in the past, what had caused past relationships to fail and by the time it was over, they knew me better than I did. The casting department and producers did such a thorough job selecting the women for me that it made ALL the rose ceremonies awful!

Another question I get: Does the show edit and produce all the drama?

You could have 25 Mother Teresas living on top of each other in a house and there would be some sort of drama. Personalities just clash sometimes. It’s healthy human nature, BUT, I can assure you, it causes some pretty rocky situations for me this season! Regarding editing, I feel like everyone last season came across as who they really were. Unfortunately, sometimes when one sees oneself on TV being oneself, it can be a little shocking, but if you would ask any of their peers, 99 times out of a 100 they would say, “Yeah, that’s them alright.” Take David and WesThe Bachelorette last season — both gentlemen had VERY true and accurate edits. from

Well, as I said in the beginning, I’m not going through this to make a television show. I am looking for love. Luckily for you there were lots of cameras around recording my sometimes embarrassing dating habits. LOL!

I would say sit back relax and enjoy the show, but you better put your seatbelt on for this season. It’s going to be a very bumpy ride!

And yes! Flying is still the safest means of transportation.

The two girls who raised accusations against Ed have provided facts and proof: specific, timestamped emails, photos and texts with Ed’s name on them. In turn, Jill and Ed have defended themselves using only vague claims about trust and confidence. And the former Bachelorette shows no signs of breaking it off, despite the “evidence” mounting against Ed.

US Magazine gives more specifics:

On June 4 – eight days after he popped the question to Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette finale – Ed Swiderski slept with former girlfriend Lindsey Johnson, according to the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now).

A day later, he tried to bed a different woman, Bethany Steffen, texting her to “bring beer and condoms” over to his place, Steffen tells Us.

The humiliated women are speaking out now to warn Harris, 29, about her new fiancee’s two-timing ways.

Says Steffen, “Ed’s not worth my time, but if I can help someone avoid heartbreak, I’m gonna do that.”
According to Us Weekly, Swiderski had been dating both Steffen and Johnson behind each other’s backs prior to filming The Bachelorette in late March (the finale, taped in May, aired July 27).

Even while he was on the hit ABC show he texted Johnson that Harris wasn’t his “type” and that he prefers “all blondes,” she says. “I love you,” he also wrote her.
Us Weekly reports that he lied to Harris when he said he had to bow out of episode five because he thought he’d lose his job as a Chicago Microsoft consultant.

While away, both women say they slept with Swiderski.

He then told them he was off to “a business trip in Texas,” when in reality he returned to film episode seven of The Bachelorette and declare to Harris that he had “reprioritized” when it came to work and romance.

This time it’s not even about the edit. He is just a player who got caught playing and has been finally outed. This is no different when the married Kobe got caught cheating when he was accused of raping a girl. He admitted having sex outside his marriage but defended it was consensual. Most Kobe fans thought he was innocent and would never even cheat! Hello, he is not just a baskerball player, but a playa! Ed is no different. Even if he marries Jillian (which I doubt) that will not stop him from what he has consistently done in life. Once a cheater always a cheater.

3 other bachelor contestants are apparently speaking out about Ed’s character.

Examiner:

Another Bachelorette contender this season, the man everyone loves to hate, Wes Hayden, recently told Us Weekly, “Dave and I both remember Ed saying he had a girlfriend, but we are not the kind who are going to run our mouths.” Ummm, except now…in Us Weekly. In response, Ed says, “Hi Pot, I’m Kettle…You’re black!” Okay, he didn’t really say that, but how ironic that Wes turns out to be the single guy, while Ed, the “nice guy”, was the dirt bag all along!

If you’re thinking Wes might just be trying to deflect some of the season’s hatred onto someone else, yes, this might be true, but he’s not the only contestant doing a little Ed-bashing these days. Reid Rosenthal says he “didn’t care to hang out with him.” (Ed)

In case that doesn’t nail Ed’s coffin shut, Break Dance Instructor (and hyperactive child) Michael Stagliano says, “There was definitely something, I can’t put my finger on it, where I did think, I’m not going to be best friends with this guy. Ed’s a shady character.”

So let’s recap…three of the guys who lived with Ed during his entire courtship with Jillian just went on record saying he’s a douche bag (Not exactly, but you know what I mean). Last week, Ed’s two ex-girlfriends blabbed to Us Weekly about Ed’s recent incriminating emails and texts to them…not to mention details of the last time they humped. (Side note: the chicks were paid thousands of dollars to tell their story, but it can’t be all lies, right? The details were painfully specific).

Is it true?  Ed denies it. Jillian stands by her man.  I think these 2 women speaking out and putting their names out there with nothing to gain seem to have some credibility.  Also, there is proof of emails and text messages that Ed won’t be able to deny.  If Jillian has any common sense, she should run for the doors.  The funny thing is she always seems to be attracted to  (alleged) cheaters  like Wes and Ed.

People:

Two women, Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen, claim that Swiderski, a Chicago computer software consultant, was stringing them along while he was wooing Harris on the ABC reality dating show, and that he continued to do so even after he and Harris got engaged on May 24. The reports claim Harris feels betrayed and that her relationship with Swiderski is destroyed.

“I am not destroyed!” Harris tells PEOPLE. “There’s a little bit of anxiety that comes with this news, but I am absolutely not destroyed.”

“What did he do wrong?” Harris asks. “My biggest concern is with everything that happened after the day we got engaged, and after we got engaged he has been so open with me. He’s told me all of this, every little text message and every little phone call. I use his computer. I know that any communication he had with the girls post-show was platonic. I’m not worried about it.’

Last month, Swiderski talked openly with PEOPLE about his relationship with Johnson prior to getting engaged, confessing, “When I left for this show we were not dating, but I certainly still had feelings for her.”

Examiner:

Various reports are surfacing regarding the situation with Swiderski and his multiple women. A source told RadarOnline.com that Swiderski “broke off his relationship with Bethany just a week before he began shooting The Bachelorette, but soon resumed contact with her via texts and emails.”

“Ed’s sexy messages to Bethany certainly aren’t of the kind a happily engaged man should be sending,” the source said.

“When the episode aired showing Ed as the winner and he and Jillian agreeing to marry, Bethany was stunned,” one of the sources said. “Ed’s sexy messages to Bethany certainly aren’t of the kind a happily engaged man should be sending.”

The sources are also stating that Harris is devastated and their relationship is destroyed, a report Harris firmly denies. Harris told People.com in an interview “I am not destroyed!” Harris continued “There’s a little bit of anxiety that comes with this news, but I am absolutely not destroyed.”

Harris did confirm to Extra that she knows Ed has kept “semi in touch,” via text message, with both women. Harris doesn’t seem to concerned, saying she will meet Ed in Las Vegas tomorrow and still plans to move to Chicago September 1st to be with him.

“This is a bump in the road, and we’ll get through it,” Jillian says. “Ed and I are on top of the world right now.”

Sorry to the JED supporters, but this relationship is on the same route as the Bennifer, and we all know how that ended.

So who does Jillian pick in the end? At first I thought she might pick nobody.  After going through the FORT, BuddyTV, and Joker’s Updates there is someone in the know that claims the final pick will be Ed. Hopefully, I have at least saved you hours of surfing for the answer.

Of course, we will only get confirmation in a day or two.

One last thing from Reality Steve who predicted the spoiler last season on Jason, Melissa, and Molly.

Here is his prediction for the finale:

Could that be because ABC told her not to give anything away or is that just how she feels? Guess we’ll find out. I’m leaning towards the latter. Jillian in interviews has also eluded to the fact that something pretty wild goes down in the last 5 minutes of the show. Also, we’ve been told one of the guys has a “confession” to make. So with all that being said, here’s what I know for a fact:

-The final 1 is not Kiptyn: Since the last five minutes of the show are crazy, I can logically assume Kiptyn will be the first one out of the limo and to the altar so she can dump him.

Also, I have it on pretty good authority that this will not be a regular ending where one guy proposes, she says yes, and everyone is happy. Something is going to go down either before, during, or after the FRC which is why it’s unlike anything we’ve seen. So with that said, what you’ll see in the “EXTRA” piece airing tonight is me giving my predictions for what I think happens. I said it two weeks ago, and I’ll say it again: I don’t think we are going to get any definitive resolution at the end of this episode tonight. There will be some sort of cliffhanger involving Ed and the reappearance of Reid. Maybe Ed doesn’t propose and they’re just dating. Maybe Ed proposes, then Reid proposes, and she tells them she needs time to make her decision. Maybe Ed proposes and she says no. Maybe she already is engaged. I just think that if they’re gonna schedule an “ATFR” tomorrow night, then there’s gotta be a reason for the audience to tune in. They’ve had enough of the “happy couple” ATFR’s that they gotta know, at this point, that’s not good enough anymore. So even though I’m not giving a definitive answer here, I’ll just say that tonight we will not see any sort of conclusion to Jillian’s journey, they will leave us with a cliffhanger, and we will learn more come Tuesday. The reappearance of Reid, and Ed being a douchenozzle will end up playing a role into Jillian’s ultimate decision, which I think we’ll get on Tuesday night. I have a feeling tonight we’re gonna get left in the dark on what, if any, decision Jillian made regarding Ed and Reid. If you go to ABC’s site, in the ad for the Bachelorette it even says, “Trust us, you won’t believe what happens.” So can we really expect this thing to end with an engagement? I just don’t see it. She is either with Ed, or she is with no one. That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it. Enjoy the show tonight.

-One last thing about Ed since a lot of you have been asking. I mentioned a couple weeks ago about rumors of a girlfriend back home, and I left it at that: a rumor. Sure I’ve made jokes about it since where there’s smoke, there’s fire. But never once have I stated for a fact that I’ve confirmed Ed had a girlfriend while on the show. And I still won’t. Only because this girl in question has refused to speak to me as of now. She’s told people through three different channels that she is going to lay low for a bit. However, I’m beginning to think there’s some legitimacy to all this. If Ed gets painted in a good light tonight, I’d say watch out. I have a feeling that isn’t gonna sit well and this story is going to have legs. She knows I’m looking for her and she has free reign to talk to me whenever she wants, but if not, don’t think she might not run her mouth somewhere else. I hate to break it to all you “Jed” fans (god I hate those ridiculous celebrity couple names), but your boy is not a saint. Far from it. Too many people have come forward admitting he’s a snake and not nearly enough people are defending him. Brought on the show late as one of the five extra guys, leaves mid-show to attend to “business” matters, comes back professing his love and now he wants to be married? Please. Not buying it. We’ll see what happens tonight, but I’ve got a feeling this isn’t over. Kinda ironic how they painted Wes all season as the guy with the girlfriend back home, yet, it could end up being the guy who ends up the final one who had a girlfriend all along. Stay tuned.

The FORTers predicted that Reid would be on the FRC and thought he would be the last one based on screen caps.  I think they were right in predicting the last 3 men standing, but what screen caps don’t tell us like in the Bachelor Brad Womack season is whether there is a proposal or pick at the end.

I know everyone is rooting for his or her favorite.  All three guys Ed, Kyptin, and Reid have plenty of fans and supporters.  In my last blog post, I thought the rumors out there might be true about Ed having a girlfriend, Kyptin being the next Bachelor, and Reid coming back to propose.  Seems like all those things have a good chance of being true and we will find out next week. So what will the twist be?

Bachelorette Jillian keeps saying she is “happy with her decision”  and at last night’s Men Tell All episode, Chris Harrison asks her so are you happy?  He usually asks specifically are you still in love or engaged, not are you happy.  Does semantics play a clue in this ABC reality tv show?  Reality Steve seems to have similar views of what I observed:

-As for the final thoughts on next weeks finale, I still stand by what I said last week. I think Jillian is either with Ed or with no one. We know now officially that Reid comes back, and considering he’s holding a ring, I’m guessing he proposes. I just don’t think she ends up with. In fact, I’m pretty sure of it. Same with Kiptyn. I don’t know what’s happening with Ed. And after reading her blog on People.com today she’s either a good bluffer and throwing everyone off, or she’s not with anybody. Once again, she still never says she’s in love, nor does she allude to the fact there is even a man in her life. Everything is about “her decision.” Oh, and I appreciate the back handed reference to me and her “engagement standards”. You’re welcome, Jillian. That’s what I’m here for. To criticize. I guess we’ll find out next week. Regardless, she’s not marrying any of these guys anyway, so does it all really matter? Didn’t think so.

Also, I want to clear up a little confusion about the perception of my “engagement standards” coming into this journey. I was not desperate for an engagement. I actually was very nervous about it and would be happy with no engagement if that were the right choice. All I wanted and would have been happy with was someone to love who loved me back. Someone who had some sort of conviction of how they felt, or was willing to make a sacrifice of any kind, as I had stated several times that I was eager to do the same. Not only is this conviction from the guy an indication for me to move forward with the relationship, but it is also an indication of what our life would be like post-show.

Probably a cliffhanger episode of who knows, maybe more time dating the final 2 or 3 guys, possibly picking no one, or maybe a live FRC on Tuesday? Yeah, we’ll see what ABC and Fliess can cook up to make more people tune in for another ratings bonanza.
