Entertainment Weekly:

ABC has announced plans to air the wedding of The Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney in a two-hour special on March 8, hosted by Chris Harrison. Per the network, “The couple, who announced their engagement in October, will let viewers in on all the exciting festivities — from Molly’s dress fitting for her dazzling custom-made gown, to Jason and Molly planning the big day with their wedding planner and event designer. Then it’s on to their bachelor and bachelorette parties and the next stage of their romantic journey with a beautiful wedding ceremony in the perfect location. Past Bachelor and Bachelorette couples, stars and participants (to be announced at a later date) will be on the guest list to help the couple celebrate along with their family and friends.”

Reasons I would tune in for this (besides that fact that EW pays me to) include: Little kids in formal wear are adorable and Mesnick’s son, Ty, is no slouch; the only thing better than a good wedding is an over-the-top one, so here’s hoping Molly is as obsessed with pink as Trista was; and it’ll be fun to see if Ryan is still not comfortable in front of the camera in the obligatory “Where are Trista and Ryan now?” package.

Why will you tune in? Or, if you’re RSVPing “No,” why are passing? It’s hard to hold a grudge against Jason for the way he dumped Melissa when she went on to Dancing With the Stars,Good Morning America, and her own wedding. At least, that must be what ABC is hoping. Dallas News:

This time, the proposal sounds like the real thing for Dallas beauty Melissa Rycroft. She is the former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader famously proposed to on the season finale of ABC’s The Bachelor before being brought back for a tawdry special episode called “After the Roses.” The cad took it all back, claiming he was still in love with another contestant.

But Friday night, Melissa and boyfriend Tye Strickland were glowing when they showed up at Brio Tuscan Grille in Southlake with two older couples who looked suspiciously like parental units. There was a large vase of fresh flowers at the table. The whispers around the restaurant were that Melissa and Tye got engaged on Friday and she was presented with a ring in a box featuring its own internal lighting (to make that rock shine).

Last spring, Tye was an omnipresent figure in the Dancing With the Stars studio after Melissa was brought in as a replacement for Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell.

Yes, I still watch this show even though at times I think it is fixed.   I find it entertaining and fun to watch with my wife.  I was rooting for Melissa all season long because of her poor Bachelor experience.

Originally, I thought Gilles would win the whole thing.  After tonight’s performance, I think it is up in the air.  I don’t think Melissa’s performance  was good enough to win the whole thing.  However in watching the finals, I think Shawn  Johnson performed the best.

Just based on the dancing performance, I actually voted for who I though did the best which is Shawn Johnson.  I hope she wins but I think she is the underdog.

I split my votes for Melissa and Shawn, but I get the feeling Gilles has this wrapped up.  That would give Cheryl 3 wins I think.  So far it has been a great and entertaining season to watch.

I did catch a preview of the new Bachelorette Jillian and am looking forward to watching it.  I am sure the FORT members already have the final 3 figured out from just that preview.

The Hollywood Gossip:

According to a close friend cited by In Touch, Molly Malaney, 24, is no longer enamored of the single father – and is considering breaking up with him over Easter weekend, when the two plan to meet up in in his home city of Seattle.

If they don’t get married, that would make the show an impressive 0-for-13. And according to someone claiming to be close to Mesnick, that’s looking likely.

“The more she sees Jason, the less she likes him” a friend reveals.
The supposed “friend” adds that Molly doesn’t trust Jason Mesnick after what he did to Melissa Rycroft, the 25-year-old he initially gave the final rose to on The Bachelor
, then dumped for Molly on the “After the Final Rose” special.

“Let’s face it, (Molly) was his second choice,” a second source says of runner-up Malaney and Rycroft, who went on to shine on Dancing with the Stars.

“He has a history of being fickle.”

It has also been rumored that Molly, a native of Grand Rapids, Mich., who now lives in Milwaukee, isn’t prepared to relocate to Seattle to be with him.

“Jason expects her to quit her job and move,” the source says. “Molly’s not giving up her life unless she’s 100 percent sure that he’s committed.”

Right now, the relationship is shaky at best. The two talk via Skype almost every night on the computer, but the source says she hasn’t gone to Seattle to visit Jason, since March 3 – and hasn’t seen his son Ty, 4, since the show’s finale.

“It’s make-or-break time,” the friend explains.

Ok, when does the Bachelorette Jillian show begin? Will she find true love or will ABC convert her to another media whore?

The person I think who is doing extremely well is Shawn Johnson the Olympic Gold medalist.  She is very graceful on the floor.
I don’t see any of the other dancers coming up strong as far as the dancing goes, but on this show you can never tell who will win the whole thing because of the TV voting and now a dance off twist.
If you are looking to find out who got the boot tonight, it was Denise Richards. I am surprised to see Steve Wozniak and Karina Smirnoff still in the competition. I didn’t realize he had that many fans/followers.

The show had some really weak dancers but it seemed like everyone was there just to have fun.  The competitive spirit of winning seems less than previous seasons.  As for Melissa’s performance, she did really well.  It looks like she can make it to the final 3 to me.
