UFC 143 Diaz vs Condit fight video summary

This is what the UFC 143 Diaz vs Condit fight looked like to me. I just found these gifs in forums and underscores why this fight was boring. On paper it looked to be a great fight. In reality it was just one fighter riding a bike all day long. These are all from different rounds if you check out the round clock in the corner.

As for the scoring, I thought Diaz won 1,2 and 5 like these other people tweeted.

I only watched the main event and was disappointed with the decision. I had Diaz winning rounds 1,2 and 5. I know Condit can fight but he did alot of running in this fight. I don’t think he necessarily respected Diaz’s punches, but was simply gaming the system by trying to win points in every round.

I did see the computek punch output, but I don’t think that tells the whole story. If I could see the breakdown of punches landed per round, I get the feeling Diaz would come up as the winner.

Many MMA fighters were tweeting who they thought won the fight. It seems Matt Lindland and Cung Le scored the rounds the same way I did.

To start off, I like Condit because of the way he’s always fought. But I thought Diaz clearly won and it seems like a lot of actual fighters agree.

I didn’t watch the other fights, but based on what I read the UFC 143 was boring with all the main fights going to decision.

There is going to be another UFC this weekend. It seems like it is like that every weekend. Unfortunately, it will not be a free event. Will it be worth buying? Just depends on your interest in the fighters.
I like watching Nick Diaz fights because most times they are entertaining. But he is not worth buying the PPV. So you have to decide if this card below is worth it. Last week’s free fight on TV was a bit on the boring side. Will this week’s card be less boring? I see a few wrestling matches on this card too.

UFC on FOX 2: Evans vs Davis video

I watched the free UFC on FOX 2: Evans vs. Davis event last night. However, they started the fights extremely early so I was only able to catch the last two matches. They were the ones I wanted to see, but honestly they were boring wrestling matches to me. As a matter of fact the last 3 fights all went the distance which makes the fight much more boring.

I really thought Sonnen was going to knockout or submit Bisping. Sonnen looked much weaker than in previous fights which makes me think the PEDs did make a big difference in his strength. If Sonnen does fight Andersen Silva in a rematch, then I think he will lose assuming they test for drugs the same way in that event. They may not since that event will be in Brazil.

What did surprise me is how good Rashad Evans looked in the 5 rounds against his opponent. I thought Evans has improved dramatically and now think he has a great chance of beating Jon Jones.

Overall, the fight was boring which is expected when you get a lot of high level wrestlers on the show. But I can’t complain because it was FREE on TV. I found some gifs and embedded them below and the blue results correspond with those fights. I wish those were the fights I had watched instead of the last two.

Edson Barboza KOs Terry Etim – UFC 142 video

This was a great fight in the UFC 142 card. I couldn’t find the video to embed but I did find the Edson Barboza Spinning Heel Kicks Terry Etim gif. Enjoy. This is how the fight ended. He was out cold and looked dead with the way he landed on the ground with his arms frozen.

Jose Aldo Knees and Pounds Chad Mendes – UFC 142

This fight Jose Aldo vs Chad Mendes only lasted one round and this was the highlight ending. This was a great knockout. I think he was outcold before he hit the canvas.
