Sing Off season 2 awesome show

I just blogged about Sing Off season 1’s show and thought it was great. I like watching these singers perform in a Glee like fashion. I am watching season 2 now which you can stream straight from the NBC network.

I have to admit the groups in this season are just as talented and even more polished. The competition is tough and I really love the top two groups so far. My wife and I have watched the first 4 episodes and already know who wins the season. We love the internet spoilers.

That doesn’t change the entertainment value for us. The groups Committed and Street Corner Symphony are utterly incredible and amazingly talented vocal people. I can’t believe they sing the songs they do without any real instruments.

I will probably post the rest of the videos of both groups on a separate post later. I enjoyed their music that much.

The Sing Off season 1 winners Nota sound awesome

I was able to watch the first season of the Sing Off hosted by Nick Lachey and was extremely entertained. Now that the Glee Project is over, I needed some musical show to fill the void. I have watched an episode of America’s Got Talent but honestly turned off by the low bar of performance. Don’t be mad at me, just my opinion.

Now this show Sing Off is singing without any instruments. All sounds are strictly by human voices. The winners were quite amazing and I wanted to share with you what I saw. The great thing is this Puerto Rican group Nota won $100,000 and a recording contract. I believe the first season ran in 2009. I am going to watch season 2 in a little bit. And definitely going to watch it live during season 3.

So, this group Nota is fun to watch and they sound great. There album is on amazon to purchase now. Enjoy!

Strikeforce: Fedor vs Henderson video

There are a few places with the Fedor vs Hendo fight but I think this is what everyone is looking for. The TKO was in the first round and can be considered a controversial early stoppage and two illegal blows to the back of his head, but Fedor is past his prime and coming off of two losses so I don’t think it would make any difference

There are forums talking about the early stoppage and I think a legitimate argument can be made for both sides.
